Benedetta De Mennato is an italian designer.
She’s always been passionate about art and design, which have been part of her daily research within her main job as Accessories Designer.
Benedetta was born in Naples in 1992, at the age of 18 she moved to Milan to study fashion design at Istituto Marangoni.
To further her knowledge she has attended two short courses at Central Saint Martin College of art and design in London: “Photography, Art & Architecture” and “fashion design”.
Since then she has worked for luxury brands such as Fendy, Bally, Miu Miu and
Bottega Veneta living between Milan, London and Paris.
During quarantine at home she started thinking about her own brand to focus on something she’s never have experienced before: The Art of working Glass.
Her first Art & Design exhibition “A Matter of Balance” was held in Naples
in October 2020.
Her works is produced in Italy, each piece is unique since finshed ‘ ‘by hand”.
Benedetta lives and works between Milan and Naples.
Here is what she prepared for you:
Banana Bread
– 6 bananas
– 1 lemon
– 120 gr of sugar
– 6 gr of yeast
– Salt
– 200 grams of flour
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 2 eggs
– A pinch of baking soda
– 120 grams of butter
– Walnuts
– Chocolate chips
Cut five bananas and mash them with a fork, adding the juice of one lemon.
Mix the sugar, butter, eggs and bananas together. Gradually add the flour while continuing to mix.
Add the nuts and chocolate and finally salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
Put the mixture in a long and narrow baking dish and insert the remaining banana and other chocolate chips.
Bake for 60 minutes at 180 degrees.
