Enrico Magistro, co-owner and founder of Quadrodesign, studied Marketing in London and Art Direction in Milan.⁠
His early steps are walked alongside his father and the family’s previous tap company, learning the specifics of a product so intensely technical yet decorative. From 2006 to 2020, he has been art-director of the milanese studio C41 ( and production company K48 (, curating the image of both studios and the creative content of brands such as Flos, A. Lange & Söhne, Etro and many more, spanning from fashion to luxury and of course, design.⁠
Now he not only curates his own company’s brand image, but works alongside the designers to develop Quadrodesign’s products, sometimes designing his own.⁠
Here is what he prepared for you:
Revisited Coleslaw
– 1/2 Red Cabbage
– 2 Carrots
– 1 Apples (preferably crunchy like Fuji or Pink Lady)
– 1 Spring onion
– 1 Fresh peppers
For the seasoning:
– 1 cupo of Mayo (best the quality, better the result)
– 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
– 2 tablespoons of Dijon Mustard
– Fresh Coriander
– Salt and pepper to tast
Chop finely the cabbage, the carrots (longitudinally, with a potato cutter), the spring onion. Carve longitudinally the fresh pepper and carefully remove all the seeds, then slice it finely.
Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl, then mix it with the vegetables and you’re done. Adjust the doses as preferred.
